The last elder of the Poison Clan is old and soon to die. He is sending his last student out to track down his other 5 who have left and check up on them. He fears they are going after his ex fellow teacher who made himself wealthy through nefarious means while a member of the clan.

Centipede, Snake, Scorpion, Lizard and Toad Kung Fu
The student has learned a little of each of the 5 poison techniques; Centipede, Snake,Scorpion, Lizard and Toad but must team up with 1 of the good students, if there are any, to kill any students who have turned to evil, if there are any. This gives 5 Deadly Venoms a layer of intrigue missing from most classic kung fu movies and makes it an interesting film in it's own right. The fight scenes between the original 5 students are expertly done and although some techniques are generic to many kung fu movies the Snake expert is very true to style.
