Morley Ninjutsu Club includes "Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu Morley", and "Hoshin Kocho Dojo". We teach 2 martial arts; both combat arts and not sport.
Bujinkan Budo is traditional and modern Budo under Soke Masaaki Hatsumi of Noda City, Japan, 34th linear grandmaster of the Togakure Ryu Ninpo. Although better known as a ninjutsu style that's just 3 of the 9 traditional ryuha under the Bujinkan umbrella.
The Hoshin family of arts includes interrelated disciplines including self protection, yoga, qigong, meditation, healing, massage, personal development etc ended to cultivate the "complete warrior" using traditional and modern methods. Hoshinjutsu (the combat side of the art) has it's roots in ninpo and taijutsu and is a modern ecclectic self protection style drawing from Ninjutsu, Savate, O'neill, Jujitsu, tai chi etc.
