 The Story in a Nutshell

 Based on a true story, Huo Yuanjia (played by Jet Li) rises to fame and becomes the greatest and most famous  fighter in China in the late 1800s.

 Huo rises to fame through a number of organised competitive fights in China, making him the nation’s most famous  fighter, and giving the film makers an excuse to stage fight scene after fight scene involving Huo.

 Through personal tragedy and changing political times in China, Huo is set upon a personal journey that leads him to  true “Kung Fu enlightenment” and making a nation proud of its hero.

 With Huo (Jet Li) being the most famous fighter in China, this film guarantees countless number of incredible fight  sequences with the world’s most famous living martial artist. The end scene involving weaponry (3 piece staff vs  Katana) is particularly spectacular, and will have you researching all sorts of dangerous objects online to see if you  can buy one and learn to use it like the film’s hero!
